Playtesting the Game-Show Variant

Today, some friends and I got together to test out the competitive variant rules for Perfect Pitch, which allows for players to compete for bids such as might be shown on certain animal-themed reality-tv investment shows.

Early results, without giving too much away: it was real fun, but the final stage of determining a winner was... confusing. Needs more testing.

Fun moment: a coworker returned from lunch early, sat down to listen, thinking it was a real prototyping discussion, not a game about creating games. He had some confusion until he figured out why were were so entertained about the most ridiculous parts that weren't particularly market-viable.
